From 2018 to 2025 I was a foreign correspondent and radio reporter based out of Nairobi, Kenya. Most of my their coverage was for NPR’s The World, a daily international news radio program out of WGBH. As their Africa Correspondent, I was responsible for leading and expanding their coverage on Africa. My approach was to focus African voices and expertise, and offer varied stories about current affairs, and about arts, sports, and culture.
